This is actually a 5" flashlight, not a 4" flashlight. For older Lithonia downlights, the distance from the outside edge of the divider to the edge of the divider is exactly 4 inches. This is 5 1/4 inches from the outside edge of the baffle to the edge of the baffle. However, it is easy to install and bright. When I needed a work light due to lack of time I fitted it right away. But don't let the name fool you.
