I really liked this trimmer and bought it to trim bikini line (I mean every inch) rather than shave but it just isn't right. Suitable for its purpose. Pros: The small, thin trimmer head wasn't too big and bulky (like many other electric shavers) so it was easier to use in nooks and crannies. Cons: Unfortunately, the trimmer blades there are so short that it just isn't the way to trim areas where the skin is softer, no matter how hard you pull on that skin. The blades grabbed me and kept cutting me no matter what angle I tried, how gentle and careful I was, or how hard I pulled on the skin. I wanted to cut my hair short and then straighten it with the shaving head, but I couldn't use the trimmer without the attachment because it kept scratching the skin, and when I used it with the attachment, the hair was too long to trim. I could cut with a foil head and it just had no effect no matter how many passes I made. I've tried three times to get it to work and after each attempt I've been frustrated, bleeding and blotchy. The product just isn't safe for sensitive areas and the included protective cover leaves your hair too long. If the guard was much shorter so you could at least touch your skin without cutting yourself while cutting your hair short enough for a foil head to work, this would be a great product. But as it is now, it's useless to me.
