We received this as a gift for our son's 7th birthday. He's a fan of camouflage, so he immediately liked the look. He and his eight-year-old sister use them constantly to talk. They figured out the management themselves, they didn't give or ask for any instructions. So the ease of use is great! The sound could be a little better, but it's not bad for a child's toy. From a distance it works great. I wish they were rechargeable. Anything that uses triple batteries won't last as long. Excellent purchase! He loves her!
