Review on 🐈 Friskies Wet Cat Food, Classic Pate Variety Pack, 12-Pack 5.5oz Cans - Shop Now! by Lindsay Erdman

I have ordered this and other sets of Friskies from Revain many times and have never had a problem. However, this time one of the two packs of 12 with open cans arrived. The box was wet - the only reason the shipping box and other contents weren't wet was the shrink wrap. I partially opened a wet pack of 12 cans in hopes of salvaging a few cans, but the presence of hordes of squirming larvae, not to mention the unbearable smell of rot, forced me to pack the packing box, carton and cans into one great to pack garbage bag and out of my house in less than 3 minutes. It was only by the grace of God that I didn't faint or vomit, so I quickly requested a refund. It occurred to me that returning open 12 packs of Revain might be maliciously funny, but was advised when I filled out the returns form not to do so. To be honest (hence two stars should be 2 and 1/2) this is the first time this has happened to my Friskies cat food orders. I used to get dented glasses but never opened and rotten food. The unopened 12 pack was fine and my cat happily boxed it up as always. I assume this is not Revain's fault but the manufacturer's. Both 12-packs were shrink-wrapped so moisture and odor didn't show up right away. I hope this is a new oversight and doesn't happen again. Stay tuned for future reviews.
