Eliminates the need to slam the door to turn on the microwave
These switches are two of the three switches used as lockouts on Bosh microwave ovens. These are normally open, the third is a normally open of exactly the same size. They are held in place by plastic tabs on the door latch assembly. Be sure to put the two door latch mounting screws back in the same place (indicated by the star lock washer marks) so that the switches are in the position required to close securely for the microwave oven to operate.
