I own and run an electrical installation company. My main installations are audio/video equipment and surveillance equipment. I've bought several of these extensions and most of them don't work at 1080p. I had 3 broadcasts at 1080p while the other 4 only worked when I lowered the resolution to 720p and one of them didn't work at all. I have tested 4 that only transmit 720p using many different patch cords of various lengths including a short 1ft cable and yet they do not transmit 1080p. The monitor flickered and everything. Once the resolution dropped to 720p, everything displayed fine. And yes it was a 1080p monitor as it displayed 1080p just fine when plugged directly into the HDMI cable. Unfortunately I've already expired my return so I'm about to lose it. I gave it 2 stars because most of them worked at a lower resolution but not the advertised resolution.
