Terrible for ease of use

Works. Once in a while. Definitely not plug and play. Sometimes if I plug it in the right order, pat my tummy and the stars align, it works. The rest of the time I just pull my hair out. It doesn't have to be that hard.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Can't remember

Easy to install and use!

Easy to apply. Connect Matrix Out2 4x2 to an Epson projector 40 feet away using Cat5 cable. First installed on my stand, tested and working fine. . Electricity was included and works great. The customer loved this extension for their second projector. They are allowed to display 2 different devices on their projectors. Great for their cool demos and exercises.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Crumpled

Runs at 50Hz and no more than 50ft

I build Jumbo Tron screens for a living. I use these products all the time. This is by far the worst thing I've ever bought. Description says 190Ft Cat6 cable. I bought 150Ft Cat6 and no signal as directional signal. Not tested on 100Ft cable. Signal not tested. 50Ft Cat6 worked but disappointed at 25Ft there were grains in the image

  • Lots of positive vibes

Stops working after 2 months of use!

After only 2 months of use it was over! I've tried every trick in the book to get it working (reset, disable this, disable that, etc.). I can't find any warranty contact information - on their website (horrible!). I should have known better. Don't buy this! Update 08/28/2018: I found an email to the seller and they replaced the product very well. In fact, they changed it twice! Unfortunately, this can be a tactic to beat the 30-day money-back guarantee. They keep breaking after a few weeks.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Garbage doesn't work at all even at 3ft

Bought there because I have a 40ft range that I need for video for my security system. This is obviously within the distance requirements for them, but no matter what I plugged them into, they just didn't work. No signal, no signal, no signal. I was pissed and thought it might be a run, so I grabbed a pre-made 3ft CAT6 UTP cable and gave that a try. It does show up in the end, but everything was static with a yellow-tinted grid all over the screen. save your money; There's a reason they haveโ€ฆ

  • I ended up buying
Cons
  • not reliable

Good video best in cables and connections

Recently installed 12, just one unit with a broken reset button. He is replaced and the deal goes smoothly. It would be great if the device was POE, ideally in my receiver-side setup. I ended up with 27 power connections at the origin of the signal, between 12 transmitters, 4 splitters and various other components. It happened to me that when changing source, the video didn't update and I had to press the reset button or change the video source for it to be recognized. The video got cut a fewโ€ฆ

They don't take power cuts

I used them to connect my security cameras in my closet to my TV in the living room. I accidentally bought two of these but they worked fine for a while. We've had storms that cut the power for hours and after turning it back on the camera feed to the TV (via those devices) stopped working. I did the troubleshooting by connecting the power supplies that came with the spare blocks and the spare blocks themselves, but I don't remember which one was bad (that was last summer). I think I swappedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

I own and run an electrical installation company. My main installations are audio/video equipment and surveillance equipment. I've bought several of these extensions and most of them don't work at 1080p. I had 3 broadcasts at 1080p while the other 4 only worked when I lowered the resolution to 720p and one of them didn't work at all. I have tested 4 that only transmit 720p using many different patch cords of various lengths including a short 1ft cable and yet they do not transmit 1080p. Theโ€ฆ
