Review on πŸͺš Wooden Kitchen Helper Stool for Toddlers & Children- Kids Step Stool Ideal for Kitchen and Bathroom Use by Reynaldo Tong

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well made and solidly constructed, this stool is the winner

We bought this step stool because it was decided that swivel kitchen bar stools were probably not the safest option for our children when trying to lift things in kitchen cupboards. Based on Revain's listing, this stool met our needs. What we got was better than I expected. The stool is packed in a cardboard box. It requires assembly, but all necessary screws, nuts and an Allen key are included. The wood pieces are 5/8" plywood, pre-drilled for nuts and bolts. I really like using barrel nuts in furniture like this. They just seem stronger and more durable than the traditional cams seen in many similar pieces of furniture. The Sides have shallow grooves cut into them to show where the steps and braces should be placed, this not only makes it foolproof but also provides extra strength and stability as the pieces are less likely to move when they are in locked into their grooves. There are two grooves for the top step, their placement is optional depending on how high you want the stool. Once assembled, this thing is very strong and durable. I weigh about 180 pounds and I can climb and stand on it without bending down. If I can stand on it, it also supports children climbing on it. There is no grip tape on the steps, so they ruts in stockings chig unless you add them yourself. An added bonus is that this stool looks gorgeous. With light colored wood and a clean look, this is very good utility furniture that will see a lot of use in the months and years to come.
