Not big enough for my 4 year old granddaughter. She still needs to use her chicks, which is not safe. She loves helping in the kitchen.

My little one usually can't wait a second while I cook, but this stool can make her feel like she's not "tied" to the floor, even though she is Can't even stand, but she's got her knee up on a stool, which impressed me. The stool is stable enough to let her try. Most of the furniture in my house doesn't have this feature.

Does the job! Looks exactly as advertised. The only complaints I have are that you can't close it, the stepping surface is a bit slippery, and the pre-drilled holes aren't exactly where they should be (as shown in the picture). Okay, this stool doesn't really guarantee your family will have a new dishwasher, but it does allow my little grandson to help out more. Whether he's putting his cereal bowl in the sink, conducting science experiments on the counter, or helping out with the mixing/stirring, we've found plenty of uses for this high chair. We bought this step stool because it was decided that swivel kitchen bar stools were probably not the safest option for our children when trying to lift things in kitchen cupboards.
