This is a great remote for controlling Sonos speakers. It's easy to connect and doesn't have the connectivity issues I've had with the competing Xpress product. The only glaring issue is that hitting the play/pause button affects the entire array of Sonos speakers (which is a good thing). Pressing the next track or switching sources also affects the entire speaker array (also good). However, the volume up/down only affects one speaker in the group to which the Pico was originally assigned (undesirable result). So if you want to use this remote to control a "group" of Sonos speakers, you can do that, but you don't have volume control. What is funny. I have written to Lutron and hope the update will fix this issue. If you're just using this to drive a speaker then the above won't be a problem for you. It will work fine. If you want to install it on an existing wall box, you will also need a clear panel. However, if you are "faking" a double box by hanging a double lid on a single box, you can simply wall mount the remote with the included self-adhesive backing and surround it with a double wall panel - no need to purchase an additional clear panel. In fact, if you just put it against a flat wall, the transparent panel sticks out too much (without the gap in the shape of an empty box behind it).
