I bought these battery operated lamps for a plank wall I made as a headboard in my bedroom. I needed battery power so I didn't have to plug in the outlet or hire an electrician. You are perfect and amazing! You look better than I expected. The foot of the wall mount is made of plastic, but the workmanship is very high quality. The amount of light is amazing for small LED lights in a lamp. The lamp's neck is metal and has a durable, smooth plastic cap, which doesn't make it cheap. I just wish you could remove and replace the globe, but the way the LEDs are made in the globe makes sense that you can't remove it. I love how the wall headboard turned out and the light just takes it up a notch. You can have strong light or dim it with a push of a button on the bottom of the light base. They were very easy to install. Wall foil was used, which showed exactly where to put the screws, regardless of whether the lighting was directed downwards or upwards. I attached the screws to the wooden beam. If screwing the lamp into drywall I would use better quality anchors than the basic ones that come with the kit. Or try screwing them into a stud behind the drywall for better support. I would definitely buy them again. These are great lamps at a great price. Each requires 3 AA batteries. You can easily remove the lamp to add new batteries just like they designed the back of the lamp base. You don't need bulbs, lead bulbs are part of the fixture design! Love her, you too!
