Take the device out of the packaging and start pouring water into it. Then drain and refill twice. Then make sure each jet is working and flowing at a good rate; not great but good. This is acceptable and works well. Put the bottle on it and make sure it still works properly. Allow the water to heat up and cool down. Don't leave it on Normal, use the 'Economy' setting and accept the fact that you have 190 degrees hot water 4 minutes after pressing the button and this is perfect for hot cocoa, instant oatmeal, tea, coffee etc. is. i.e.
