Well, first I used the scientific method to show that my ipad3 could be dropped three times from three different angles and it only broke the third time - the touch screen shattered into about 50 pieces. Well it still worked so I tried this little glass touch screen replacement kit. The only tool not included is a hair dryer (they say a heat gun, but a 1500 watt hair dryer works just fine). Everything arrived, everything is of high quality. The only thing not included in the kit is instructions. So go to YouTube and search ipad3 "replace touch screen". Choose Video Gadgetmaster. A word of caution: there are plastic protective films on both sides of the replacement screen. Leave the inner protection to the penultimate step. Remove it THEN press down to close and seal the new touchscreen. Two hours of continuous work, not hard work but careful work.
