This kettle feels solid and well made. Everything arrived undamaged and has a pleasing aesthetic appearance. However, there are three things I don't like about it: 1: When a full kettle is brewed (I usually make about 800ml of tea for this, which gives me some space not to overfill the kettle) the kettle keeps leaking when I pour it. every time The amount that seeps into the teapot and hits the counter is about as if you pour tea on the counter for half a second, so it's not a huge amount. To me, this is a serious design flaw that is unacceptable for any kettle. However, as soon as the volume of tea in the kettle is about half empty, it stops sloshing. 2: The strainer doesn't reach the kettle as deep as I would like. Many of the teas I make expand when brewed, which means I can brew no less than 600ml (3/4 capacity) of tea in this teapot. When the pot is only 400ml full (half a container or a large cup), the brew bowl is actually a little less than 1 inch submerged in the water. Therefore, tea in a teapot does not have the ability to spread and brew properly in the water. I don't know why the manufacturer chose not to make a tea infuser that fits close enough to the bottom of the kettle, but I can't brew just one cup of tea in it. Another design flaw. 3. This error is not as important as the others, but a bit annoying. The teapot lid fits the teapot perfectly (cool!), but the teapot rattles a bit when standing in the teapot (not a perfect fit). And if there's only a ceramic lid on a pot without a brewer, it won't fit snugly and nicely on the pot itself. Not that big of a deal, but here's what happens to me: I brew tea with the brewer and the lid closed for X times, then I take that Remove the brewer and put the lid back on after the brewing process is complete. to keep warm on the kettle. When I then pour the tea into the cup, I have to hold the ceramic lid with one hand while pouring so that it doesn't fall off. I want to be able to pour tea with one hand. This is a minor point and designing a lid to fit the strainer and kettle snugly can be difficult, but I don't think it would be impossible. At the very least, I wish it would fit worse in the brewer when it could fit better in the teapot because I never pour out tea while it's still brewing. If I did that, the tea left in the kettle would continue to brew later and taste very strong. If that doesn't bother you, be sure to buy this teapot. But in hindsight, I probably would have chosen something else.
