The sound is not very good - at least with elac unifi ub5 - the price was quite high - 500 dollars. Acoustically there wasn't enough "meat". Didn't think the unifi ub5 performed well enough to keep it at $500. I felt the soundstage was small and the highs were a little crisp, not as smooth or punchy, but I didn't get a good impression of it off the bat. This gave a very muffled booming bass.
