Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Audio Experience with the SVS Prime Wireless SoundBase by Patrick Reid

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Avoid if you want great sound.

The sound is not very good - at least with elac unifi ub5 - the price was quite high - 500 dollars. Acoustically there wasn't enough "meat". Didn't think the unifi ub5 performed well enough to keep it at $500. I felt the soundstage was small and the highs were a little crisp, not as smooth or punchy, but I didn't get a good impression of it off the bat. This gave a very muffled booming bass. However, it could be the DAP I connected to it. A fiio - But this dap worked fine with my old Yamaha AV receiver and an old late 90's Sony AV receiver. The old Sony advertised Elac very well. That was my policy. It's a class A/B amp - glad I did. Nice, clean, transparent, big soundstage, but also $250 more.

Pros
  • Toslink optical input: input impedance: 75?
Cons
  • Crumpled
