After buying a "cheap" new iPhone ($750!) with glass on both sides, I needed a versatile and DURABLE protective tool to carry the phone without having to carry it in my pocket ( it seems huge compared to my old iPhone 6). This wonderful belt clip case offers seemingly total protection while still providing convenient and easy access to your phone with a smart, spring-loaded clip at the top of the case. Not much attention is paid in the specs to the innovative little steel device that allows the belt clip to support the case so you can watch videos, movies or just use your phone as a radio with services like TuneIn or Pandora. I discovered it myself. Another advantage of the manufacturer is the online registration for a "lifetime” guarantee. Although it's not listed, I suspect they are so confident in this case that if it becomes damaged through normal use they will replace it (that's just what I think, not what they say it is should be). Disadvantage: it is heavy! Wearing this will definitely pull your belt down so make sure your belt is snug or your pants sag no matter how you wear them. I'm giving this 4 stars because the weight of the device with the iPhone Xr is 11.4 ounces at the hip. However, after reviewing three cases, this is the best I've found for my needs. November 17, 2018 I've decided this case deserves 5 stars, not just 4. The weight mostly comes from the iPhone Xr itself and it doesn't seem fair to me to downgrade this great case from Apple for the weight. I accidentally dropped this phone on a concrete floor while it was in a protective case and it only bounced once. No damage. The whole bag conveniently clips to my belt and has become a part of my daily routine. I do not recommend above. I would buy it again if something happened to him.
