ATTENTION! OWN LABELS!

Attention. This printer used a proprietary "cartridge" style label with a set of data-encoding pins at the bottom of the label tray, preventing you from using a standard 4x6 label and forcing you to use your "special" labels to buy. It wasn't clear to me from the product description and I only found out about this little surprise after I had started setting up the device.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

DO NOT BUY_USER INTERFACE SUCKS

This is the worst junk. Whoever designed this UI and all the hurdles you have to go through in order to just print one label should be fired and never design UIs again. It's terrible. I can't print it on my Mac. I've followed all the instructions and paper sizes and it's giving me various error messages or saying it's printing and doing NOTHING. Note that this printer hates Mac.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

I have a MacBook Pro and this thing sucks. You have to go through 1000 steps before you can print a label. I was hoping it would be easier than what I'm doing now printing half sheet labels directly from any website (etsy, amazon, ebay) but no, it took me 4 hours to figure it out and try their Ptouch program . . You will need to download each label and then crop it in Adobe Reader, then paste it into your Ptouch and print out the fuzzy label. I return it and get Dymo.

  • Still satisfied

Would like to give 5 stars

Would like to give 5 stars but labels cost money. As far as I know, there is no universal one for this. The thing looks pretty good next to its little brother, the Brother QL-700. I haven't found any reviews for this printer anywhere. I think I'll be the first. It prints crisp and is very legible compared to the blind I am returning. I bought a roller blind to use free accordion style UPS labels but it kept printing poorly and illegibly by Shippo and Xpsship. I've tried contacting support 3…

The most disappointing machine I've ever owned. Do not buy.

If you look at my reviews you will see that I have a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews. I can always find value in a product, but this printer is one of those devices that I've come to despise. I hate it and I mean I want to take this printer and throw it out the window but unfortunately my house is a one story house and the rumble it will make in the grass isn't even worth the trouble. amazing printers i love (2270 if i remember correctly) and this thing has run for years without a single failure so

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

I've lived without him for 15 years. Why?

I've always loved Brother products, especially since their 5340D black and white printer I bought here at Revain in 2009 is still running! It doesn't disappoint! It's not plug and play (always read the instructions first! LOL). Here are a few things I learned to help someone else do it for the first time. I had paper feeding issues, this was my first label. When you open the top and insert the paper roll you will see a white sticker on the right side with a yellow triangle with 2 gears printed…

Labels are very expensive, not worth it, + a few serious flaws

At first glance this printer was great. But after a few weeks of use, serious problems appear. 1) Labels for this Brother printer are over 12 cents per label, which doesn't seem crazy unless you order a lot, but there are options for other label printers for less than 2 cents per label. 2) Additionally, there are very few standard labels for this printer, and that's important. At the time of this review, I could only find one company that makes legitimate work labels, enKo, and they cost a…

High quality printing, affordable consumables and ease of use!

This printer was a lifesaver! I can print multiple shipping labels at once very quickly and they are automatically cut between them. I also use the smaller 2.4 inch label for product labels. The reason I hated printing labels with my laser printer was that the ink would smudge and I would have to tape the label to protect the barcodes, defeating the purpose of printing the label in the first place. I used up so much packing tape (and time!). Of course Brother's labels are expensive, just buy…
