We wanted a bulb outside and intensity.
We wanted an outdoor bulb and the brightness is just right - not too bright! The color isn't a strong base blue if that's what you're looking for, but it works and is obviously blue next to the green bulb on the outside. This was a recent purchase so we don't yet know how durable the item is.
