Yes, they're pricey, but they're fun!

These are just neat light bulbs. I threw them in our bathroom vanity and catch myself randomly staring at them when I brush my teeth admiring how cool the spiral filament is (I then do things like jam my hip into the sink afterwards as I can't see a thing once I look away; but that's not entirely the light bulb's fault now is it?). The light they put off is a bit more yellow/warm than your standard incandescent/CFL so consider yourself warned; but for most uses it's a very comfortable light…

Pros
  • Very cool looking bulb. I like the old style and the warmth of a incandescent bulb.
Cons
  • High energy consumption

Very cool bulb. good for me

I like to make steampunk lamps with cigar boxes and other various found items so a vintage bulb is always a must. The Bulbrite Spiral bulb is probably the coolest one I have used, especially when dimmed since you can look right at the nice glowing spiral without hurting your eyes. It's not very bright but the vintage look more than outweighs that. I have had it for about a year and it's still going strong. I get compliments on it all the time. I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting that

Pros
  • Cool looking bulb, arrived undamaged and works great.
Cons
  • I have now gotten two of these bulbs and both didn't work.

Great product, better seller.

I ordered this bulb at 10am and had it at noon the next, without paying extra for expedited shipping. Product is cool and looks great. It's not that bright but it's only a 40 watt so I wasn't expecting it to be.

Pros
  • ‎Traditional
Cons
  • May cause discomfort to people with light sensitivity or migraines

nice item, looks great

the bulb was a bit smaller in physical size then i had hoped or expected, but it creates a great visual effect and nice lighting for the area (its a bit dimmer then what you may be used to)

Pros
  • Awesome light bulb!
Cons
  • Fragile

Antique look in my review

Great looking bulb for a retro look. Made a cheap light fixture look like an antique and has a nice warm glow. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • ‎40 Watts
Cons
  • May not be approved for use in certain buildings or spaces

works perfect! best in my review

brighter than i expected, but to be fair i was lookin for a tight that didnt hurt to look into. try 20 watt. works perfect! Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • ‎Incandescent
Cons
  • Limited availability compared to LED bulbs

Looks cool, super fragile

Opened the box. Looked great. Screwed it into the lamp. Looks REALLY COOL. Nice light, great color. Touch the lamp to start putting the shade back on and the filament in the bulb separates and presto, no light. My wife thought I was pranking her because I had touched the lamp so softly she had not seen the contact. It lasted all of 1 minute before it went into the trash.

Pros
  • Tubular styles offered in T9 and T14 with multiple filament options (thread, hairpin, spiral)
Cons
  • Limited color temperature options

Looks Fantastic for my opinion

This bulb looks great! It's brighter than I anticipated, which is a good thing for me, but something to consider if you are using this bulb close to eye level. It's also smaller than I anticipated, which is fine, but I was hoping for a larger bulb, personally, but the brightness makes up for it.If you're going for the 'Edison' look, I'd say this bulb fits the bill. Solid construction, the glass feels sturdy. It's a good pickup and priced competitively.

Pros
  • ‎40 watts
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in areas with high humidity or moisture levels

Work great as expected

Work great as expected, I can dimm them and they look awesome. Still using the very first I bought and it's been a while (although I only use it a while at night to put my daughter to sleep)

Pros
  • Love these bulbs. Very cool.
Cons
  • Expensive to replace frequently

Beautiful! in my review

These are absolutely bueatiful. I have them in a hand blown Clear Pottery barn Pendant light over dining table and I get so many compliments on them. They are not very bright so I keep a 60 watt tube light bulb close buy for times when a need a brighter light.

Pros
  • ‎General purpose
Cons
  • May cause glares or hot spots in lighting fixtures

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Neat but not as practical as I hoped

It's a neat light bulb. Don't expect it to provide ample light by itself, though. I don't know how they got the 40-Watt rating, but I beg to differ.

Pros
  • ‎Medium Screw Base (E26)
Cons
  • May cause discoloration or fading of fabrics and artwork over time

Great looking vintage bulb / Not too bright.

The bulb looks great, just be aware it's better in low lighting spots. Love the ambience but does not provide a ton of light.

Pros
  • ‎1
Cons
  • Limited usage in modern lighting fixtures

Great bulb, but it does have its flaws.

I'm torn. It's a cool bulb, great looking filament, nice shape, but I feel the amber glass envelope cuts down tremendously on its light output. I would prefer it clear with a carbon filament instead.

Pros
  • ‎Bulbrite
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient lighting for some activities

one hour wonder on my review.

The bulb looked cool while it lasted for ONE HOUR. There is no way to write the company directly so I am writing a review here. What a disappointment and a waste of six dollars.

Pros
  • Beautiful artistic lightbulb... really makes my desk lamp pop!
Cons
  • Heavy

Attractive product good for me

I have an antique reproduction pulley ceiling light fixture with ribbed glass. This bulb puts out enough light to eat under without a headache producing glare. It looks a lot better than any conventional bulb I've tried too. Hope it lasts long enough to justify the expense.

Pros
  • ‎1.0 Count
Cons
  • Not as easily customizable as LED bulbs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As advertised good for me

I've actually gotten pretty good life so far. The look is fantastic in my bar where I have them hanging without any shade or other decoration

Pros
  • ‎E26
Cons
  • May emit harmful radiation

Great way to spruce up any lamp!

Used these in my bathroom on the standard apartment three lamp fixture over my mirror. Good way to make a normal fixture look a little better without any actual work involved!

Pros
  • Wattages are not indicative of light output
Cons
  • May not be interchangeable with other bulb types

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great looking filament in lamps where the bulb is seen.

Installed this bulb in an antique mason jar hanging light that I built. Combined with "Lutron TT-300-WH Electronics Plug-In-Lamp" dimmer it casts an awesome looking spiral glow which is the effect that I was going for. Will be buying a few more for some other projects.

Pros
  • Have been using these bulbs for a while. I love the look. They last a long time.
Cons
  • I bought 2 - one lasted 30 days with minimal use.

price was much better than the box stores too

these bulbs gave our light fixture a retro look with a modern twist. price was much better than the box stores too, ‎0.32 ounces.

Pros
  • ‎0.32 ounces
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain ballasts

Not Very Bright - my new review

Great for ambiance, but the bulb itself is not bright enough for practical purposes. It's little better than candlelight. However, isn't that what you'd expect from a vintage bulb? Overall, this thing is great, just not very practical.

Pros
  • Very Well Made , they look great !
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in humid or damp environments
