First let me say like others have mentioned there is a strong strong chemical smell when you first open the package. But once you leave it out to air out (about 24 to 48 hrs) the smell semi goes away or at least it's still slightly present but isn't as over powering as when you first open it and but after using it for a few days I didn't smell anything. Bough some Bombtech irons and needed a "fatter" grip. Looked at Golf Pride and Winn, then found these after poking around. The reviews were good, and the price HALF of GP and Winn. Got the installation kit, although I was a little concerned about getting them stuck half way. Watched some installation videos and saw the compressed air in the end trick. Blowing compressed air in the hole in the end made it SO easy. As for the grips, they are very comfortable and like the midsize for my arthritis. See full review
