Really nice suitcase. Courtesy of the pandemic, I haven’t traveled at all but with this new suitcase addition. I’m looking forward to it.Over the years I’ve traveled a bit. I had old soft sided suitcases whose wheels only went in one direction. Boy that was frustrating going down the aisle of a plane. You also couldn’t reliably push them upright while in line.Next I got some hard sided clamshell ones that had great wheels but I didn’t understand the implications of the clam shells. Suddenly you

Pros
  • The front opening design allows for easy access to your belongings without having to open the entire suitcase
Cons
  • The TSA lock may malfunction or be difficult to open

Just as nice as Away, July, Monos, etc. A+++

I’ve been traveling for work and pleasure for years and have invested in expensive luggage in the past, including Tumi, Away, Eagle Creek, etc. I caught this collection browsing and ordered all three pieces (20/24/26). We traveled for the Christmas holiday with all three bags packed full and they were honestly outstanding. All pieces roll quietly. Handles are tight and zippers feel crisp, thick and easily moveable. The trolly handles also felt strong and have a thicker, nice grip. The…

Pros
  • The durable casing of the suitcase protects your belongings from damage or breakage
Cons
  • The hard-shell exterior may be difficult to pack in tight spaces

Very Impressed! best in my review

I wasn’t sure if I would like the top opening of this carry on, but it really ended up holding a lot more than I thought! I got the ivory color—-which I LOVE. I have flow to Alaska twice with this bag and it rolls like an absolute dream. Very quiet. And I would venture to say it’s comparable to my Monos suitcase in quality. I was pleased with the wet/dry sections for smaller liquids and phone cords. It’s a great bag. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • The luggage meets most airline size requirements for carry-on baggage
Cons
  • The aluminum frame may be prone to rusting

Nice luggage! on my review.

This bag seems great! I just got it today and haven’t taken it on a trip yet but I think it’ll get the job done!I was between this and an Away bag and after a lot of research I ended up getting this one. The reason why I really wanted an Away bag was for the built in usb charger and I think they look a little better. I ended up getting the Hanke because it was $120 cheaper, I really like that the bag opens on the side rather than down the center (easier to open and less wasted space), and I’ve…

Pros
  • The front opening panel ensures easy packing and stress-free access to the most important items
Cons
  • The aluminum frame may add extra weight to an already heavy bag

The perfect style!: my feedback

This is a beautiful piece of luggage! I ordered the black one and the surface is super shiny and textured; it looks like it will be good at resisting scuffs. I have been wanting a hardshell luggage but I'm not a fan of the clamshell type opening. The fact that this opens like a traditional suitcase is fantastic and the straps to keep the lid upright is a nice touch. The structure of the suitcase feels very sturdy and I think it will survive the plane trips better than my soft sided ones…

Pros
  • The TSA lock ensures that your luggage remains secure throughout your journey
Cons
  • The spinner wheels may get stuck or damaged over time

Holding up well; wheels easily

Great little suitcase for the price. Rolls very easily on all 4 wheels, although not quite as nice as a Tumi suitcase I have (but much cheaper). I like the front zip as you just pack all your clothes into one side and zip up when finished. Great as a large carry-on or a smaller checked bag for the airport. Sturdy.

Pros
  • The spinner wheels provide excellent stability on uneven surfaces, making for smooth handling and effortless travel
Cons
  • The aluminum frame may be easily scratched

Great Design - my new review

I got this for my son.He is planning on doing some travelling soon and had no decent luggage.I always use packing cubes with me center split hard side luggage since one side has to be lifted and flipped when closing. This set with the side fill doesn't require half the suitcase to be flipped so we thought it was agreat option for my lazy packer son.It seems to ber well made. The hard outer shell is firm, but has some give to it.The zippers feels sturdy and all the stitching is straign and…

Pros
  • The luggage has a premium, glossy finish that stands out from the crowd
Cons
  • The front opening feature may make the luggage less secure

Great and meets carry on size

I got this for my wife and we just used it a few days ago on trip. She likes the design the way the zippered lid is thin allowing for the bag storage area to be deeper. I pulled it through airport for her and the wheels held up well. Hard shell case seems good and time will tell if it lasts. Zippers are also HD and worked great.

Pros
  • The exterior design is modern and sophisticated, so you'll look effortlessly chic wherever you go
Cons
  • The luggage may not be as comfortable to carry as other options

Sturdy and Easy-to-Roll Carry-On

I’m one of those people who refuses to ever check a bag, and usually I simply travel with a duffle bag and backpack. However, with more recent cross-country traveling that always results in a layover with gates a mile away from one another, the duffle bag was not cutting it anymore. To save my back and shoulders, I decided to finally try a rolling carry-on suitcase, and this was PERFECT.The white color is stylish and clean-looking, and this thing rolls so smoothly that you barely have to grip…

Pros
  • The suitcase is lightweight, making it easy to manage when adding or removing items
Cons
  • The luggage may be too heavy to carry up multiple flights of stairs

So far so good. for my opinion

While it took me a while to get used to it, this seems to work just fine. It's sturdy and once I adapted, it's nice to be able to get everything into the case without having to carefully spread it between the two sides and then try and fold it together. It's was easier to pack and it steers and maneuvers well. I think I manage to get more into it and I can pretty much travel for two-three days with this carryon.

Pros
  • The aluminum frame and PC shell combination ensure maximum durability and strength
Cons
  • The spinner wheels may be noisy on hard surfaces

Lightweight hard shell suitcase

This suitcase is fairly lightweight but has a hard shell. It opens from the top and has zippered areas for your unmentionables. Is has 4 spinner wheels, retractable handle and a lock on it. I think we still aren't allowed to use locks on check luggage due to TSA rules so I won't be locking mine. We'll see how the shell holds up for the my upcoming travel. All in all oh, it's a nice suitcase.

Pros
  • The spinner wheels provide a smooth, quick and easy gliding motion that makes it easy to transport your luggage wherever you go
Cons
  • The luggage may be difficult to spot on a baggage carousel due to its size

Arrived in very good packaged condition the day before taking a trip. Noticed that the combination lock is upside down so working it upside down is frustrating. Trying to figure out how to contact Hanke for exchange or other solution. It went through baggage claim just fine, no scratches or dents. Will change rating to 5 once lock situation is corrected.

Pros
  • The Hanke Carry On Built-In makes it convenient for travelers on the go to keep their important possessions in one place, making travel more manageable
Cons
  • The hard-shell exterior may crack if dropped from a height

Will never check again!

Love this suitcase! I NEVER carry on luggage even for a short trip. With a multi city trip with coworkers coming up I didn’t want to be the only one checking a bag and making everyone else wait for me. I gave this one a test run on my last 3 day trip. So incredibly light yet sturdy. Skeptical of the front load, but upon arrival I was shocked at how much room I had for packing! Packed 3 pairs of pants, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of shoes, undergarments, makeup bag, toiletry bag, curling iron, blow dryer…

Pros
  • The interior compartment is spacious and ample, allowing you to pack all your essentials with ease
Cons
  • The front opening feature may make packing more difficult for some users

When the hard shell luggage first came out, there was a specific design in which the suitcase opened in the middle with one side zippered up and the other using a strap. This luggage opens at the top which allows for things like boots, ski helmets, and other things they didn’t really work in the traditional hard shell. This luggage also has some nice features like the built-in lock and plenty of pockets. It isn’t expandable which may be a deal killer for some. I like how they use straps to keep

Pros
  • Incredibly spacious interior design maximizes the packing potential of your luggage
Cons
  • The spinner wheels may not glide smoothly on all surfaces

Great luggage for the price

There is a lot of choices on revain for luggage right now. For me and my wife this works out perfectly. I used the suitcase for all the things you can’t take in the main cabin plus clothes for two and everything fit. Our vacation will last 1 week plus a few days of air travel. It’s a great choice. I inspected mine throughly and did not find any visible scratches or dents it was pristine.

Pros
  • The Hanke Carry On Built-In is a versatile and convenient luggage choice for all your travel needs
Cons
  • The hard-shell exterior may not be as comfortable to carry as a soft-shell option

Great Luggage! But.

I loved this luggage, and was disappointed when I had to return it. There was no way to expand it if I needed to. Also, I found it difficult to lift when it was loaded because there is no handle or way to grip it on the bottom. The carry on not so much of a problem with this because it is lighter, but the larger size I felt would become a problem to lift without some way to grip from the bottom to put on racks or lift sideways. Would order again if these changes were made in a different model…

Pros
  • The four double spinner wheels provide effortless and smooth mobility
Cons
  • The luggage may not stand up well to rough handling

Cool Luggage for my opinion

Great piece of luggage! It looks great, I love the way the texture of it catches the light. It changes position and pulls smoothly and easily. There are some nice organization pockets on the inside, with quality zippers. The lining is soft and well made.My favorite thing about this bag is something I didn't notice when I ordered it. While it looks like it would open in the center, like most other luggage, it's actually just a trick. There is a metal seam around the center, but a thief would be…

Pros
  • Luggage
Cons
  • The spinner wheels may not be as durable as other types of wheels

Beautiful Top Zip (not clamshell) Hardside Luggage

Wow! LOVE at first sight!I travel a lot and always have luggage envy and I’ve been struggling to find "non-clamshell” hard side luggage for years, and I just found my match.I hate clamshell luggage and could never bring myself to buy those other brands. No more luggage envy for me now! This luggage is beautiful. Sophisticated and professional! The perfect ivory color! So light weight. NO weird petrochemical smell! Wheels glide well on wood floors at home!I bought both sizes. 20 & 24.I LOVE that…

Pros
  • The telescoping ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip and ease of mobility
Cons
  • The front opening feature may not be useful for those who prefer to pack and unpack from the top

What a smooth ride for my opinion

Great first trip overseas with the Hanke 20" Carry On suitcase. I checked it in on both legs and was no worse for wear on the two legs of the trip. Very lite, and this case really rolls. It would be nice if the two interior side pouches were a little deeper. I will be looking into a larger Hanke for my spouse.

Pros
  • The spinner wheels rotate 360 degrees, providing exceptional mobility in any direction
Cons
  • The aluminum frame may be prone to denting

Zipper tab broke off

I love the way the suitcase opens. I’ve been looking for a hard side suitcase that opens like a trunk without being too heavy and this is perfect. However, the 2nd time I used it the zipper tapped broke making it a useless suitcase.

Pros
  • Durable PC hardside material ensures longevity and protection of your belongings
Cons
  • The interior lining may not be as durable as the exterior
