Review on Wireless Earphones JBL Tune 205BT, silver by Hemant Hemant ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

In general, if you take for music and the sound quality is very important, I advise you to try how they sound before buying. The larger koss porta pro wireless and Sony 710N have more bass, but there the price is 2-2.5 times higher. if you take it for non-extreme sports or a bicycle and the sound is not very important, then you can take it. I don’t advise you as a wireless headset, everyone complains that it’s hard to hear. I bought myself mainly for watching movies and videos on a tablet, and the quality suits me for these purposes. it is quite possible that for earbuds (namely, earbuds and not plugs) the sound is not bad. the sound is generally at 4, but the build quality is at a C grade, of course, immediately ask for glue when buying headphones :) I took at one time for a promotion for 890r. taking into account points. for this price a good option, without a promotion in my opinion a little expensive (the price is up to 2022-2500, depending on the store) If for some reason they work crookedly or you are not satisfied with the sound, you can try technological combinations (they are not officially declared, use as a last resort, at your own peril and risk): 1. simultaneously pressing + and - with headphones connected - resetting the connection on the phone, also changes the sound a little; 2. simultaneously pressing + and on with the headphones connected and hold for 10 seconds - the sound also changes but not much; 3. disconnect the headphones from the phone, hold down + and on and hold until the indicator flashes alternately and then turns off, release the buttons - the sound settings also change. And I will add that there is no APT-X in these headphones. connected via SBC codec. now switched to apt-x , the sound is much better than that of jbl, the verdict is: worth taking if you are not picky about sound or don’t listen to music, but watch videos from your phone or tablet, or play (I haven’t tried it for games) for music 4 points sound maximum (a lot of high, a little low) picky about the sound do not take; how not to take a headset; if you need a battery for a day, do not take it either. sit down in 5-6 hours.

Pros
  • - wireless, lightweight, the wire does not interfere when shooting, can be hung around the neck, especially convenient when doing sports and cycling; - they sit tightly in the ears, do not press and at the same time do not fall out, after some time sometimes you even forget that you are wearing headphones; - reliable in terms of wires, in use for more than a year since August 2022, it’s rare that wired headphones last a year with frequent use, they usually break at the plug, with wireless ones it’s more difficult to bend the wire, but after 1.5 years the volume down button began to stick; - if you do not find fault with the sound, then it will go (to watch a video, or listen to music in the background, for example) - holds the declared 6 hours; - you can switch tracks on the headset, pause, change the volume; - fast charging - 1.5 hours; - not vacuum ones, namely open-type earbuds (the shape is like that of the iPhone EarPods headset), that is, you can hear the ambient sound, for trips to the subway you need to check the volume reserve, it’s enough for me (first of all, it depends on the output signal level from your phone, see the characteristics according to your telephone)
Cons
  • Main disadvantages: - for music, the sound is a very big question (the stage is not bad, but bass lovers will miss the low ones, the high ones are also lifted up a little). - if you consider it as a wireless headset, then the microphone is so-so, you won’t talk much on the phone, I don’t advise; - poor build quality and gluing - rubber pads (ear pads) peel off, you need to glue it yourself. it is not clear why not make removable rubber ear pads of different sizes (as, for example, done in the Samsung headset, Samsung does not advertise the sound is also average); as a way out - we take soft ear pads from any earbuds, put them on and ok, or carefully glue the rubber bands back onto superglue (preferably gel) - there are no settings and an adequate application for headphones to customize the sound, watch the remaining charge, etc.; - after 1.5 years, the volume down button began to jam. it works but you need to press it with force, sometimes when you press the volume down button, a crack is heard. the central button is also cracked, but it works. Nevertheless, a year and a half is a good time for headphones, perhaps they have outlived their own; further flaws are not critical, rather nit-picking - someone will seem a little expensive, but given that the airpods cost from 10k, more or less still. - weak battery, only 120 mAh (6 hours of operation), I would like a bigger battery, at least for 8-10 hours - a disadvantage for athletes and extreme sportsmen - there is no moisture protection (in extreme conditions and under water they will not live long) - no magnet for connecting wires - quiet microphone volume - you can not listen when charging, only when you disconnect from charging; - not a good indication of low battery, warn 10 minutes in advance - does not show the charge level on android (it shows on iPhone and iPad) - no case (although the older model has 25BT) I also note that JBL has no technical support, they don’t answer e-mails, the FBontakte group also didn’t answer anything sensible about the application, settings, build quality.
