My pup loves his new blanket! After reading the negative reviews I was a bit skeptical. Don't listen to her. This is a magic carpet that does not retain heat. It also feels cool and your body heat doesn't heat up the mat, so it still feels cool after 10 minutes. Somehow it transports the heat somewhere else, possibly into another dimension. I got this to teach my pup the 'place' command and it makes things easier because he would rather sit/lie on the mat than anywhere else. I like that it's not filled with any type of cooling gel. It's light and I can roll it up or fold it up and put it in my purse. I plan to use it in dog play classes or when I want my pup to perch in a specific area (next to a table at a sidewalk cafe?). Buy a magic carpet and your fluffy baby will thank you.
