I used this Nikwax conditioner for winter boots. My leather boots were looking a bit dry and sad so I decided to treat them. The product was EXTREMELY easy to use, but I found I had to keep my hand inside the boot to have firm pre-pressure to press on the tip (to let the liquid flow out) and I squeezed to make sure that there was enough liquid. Exit. It was easy to massage in and you could tell the difference immediately. I followed the directions, wiping them down with a damp cloth, then wiping the entire boot (not forgetting the seams) and then leaving them on for 10 minutes before wiping off any excess. The next day I was so impressed with how my boots looked. You could see that there were several areas that didn't have as much air conditioning. I waited two weeks and then used the product again and am now REALLY pleased with how happy the leather looks on my boots. My boots are Merrill leather boots. Light brown with two darker straps that reach the knee. I have applied the product twice to each shoe and there is definitely plenty of conditioner left for the future. I was a little surprised at how dirty the tip of the sponge turned out to be on the conditioner bottle. I had dried my boots beforehand but apparently they were dirty.
