I really like this broom. I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. Yes it comes with a short handle but if you buy it with the intention of having 2 brooms you will be disappointed. If you buy it with the intention of having a broom with an extra broom, you'll love it. I took the handles off both brooms and made a long handle... perfect! Other reviews said it had a weak grip. Well, you shouldn't pressure him too much. With a little pressure, it does its job well. If you try too hard, it makes a horrible squeak as it's dragged across the floor. I immediately ordered a second one for my daughter. We both love it! We clean beach houses on the weekends and this thing is great for sweeping sand off the floor without scratching the surface. We also use it to clean large windows when covered in salt spray and to remove pet hair from furniture. This is the best tool I have in my pocket at the moment.
