I really like the look of these and really wanted them to work. I tried on different thickness socks, tried not to tie them all the way etc. But they still started rubbing my ankle in them after a short walk. The problem might be that I'm a woman with small ankles, that's the only thing I could think of because otherwise they seemed to fit. I ordered 6 as a woman in size 8. I really wanted them to work :-(. However, it was very easy to return them.
