It's as easy as it gets. I have a washing machine and the GFIC switch has failed. I ordered this as a replacement after reading the reviews. He arrived the next day. Instructions for replacing a broken switch (if necessary) were clear. A plus was an additional assortment of grommets to accommodate different sized electrical cords used for different devices. It took me about 15 minutes to remove my old switch and install this one. I spent most of my time removing the original switch which failed! This is easy to fix. Note. The switch says it's "rainproof", not "waterproof". These switches can fail due to moisture. I wrapped black insulating tape around places where moisture could easily penetrate. So far, so good.
