This is a good size for what I wanted. I bought a pack of 300 different stud earrings in gold and silver tones and everything was clean. I wanted to use 3 boxes for this. I finished separating the backs and put them in boxes and one box didn't close tightly. I had a 4th box and switched to it. I'm not sure I can count on the fourth one to stay securely closed, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. Not satisfied with rubber bands. I was thinking of cotton swabs or matting strips. I didn't want to bother with the return, so I guess I got 3 boxes for my money. However, they were perfect for the back of the earrings. Just make sure your bars snap well before you start stuffing them with lots of small items!
