If you are looking for reliable and affordable cutlery then this is the place for you. My husband hates flimsy dishes. You will find his approval. They are strong and don't bend. My set has a polished, mirror-like finish that's more likely to be scratched considering I have a stainless steel pan and the outside is scratched. Each piece is individually wrapped to prevent scratches, but I've seen a couple with faint stains on them. Also, fingerprints are likely to be visible. If any of these things bother you, this set may not be for you. Each piece is a nice weight but not heavy. The soup spoons are larger than I am used to from a large spoon. Not a size fan. The teaspoons are about the same size as my previous large spoons. This may take some time as we have children and they may be too big for them. A soup spoon is more like a serving spoon, while a small spoon is more like a regular sized spoon. Otherwise, this set will serve our family very well.
