They will break for my opinion
So the magnets have such a strong bond that it is possible if you let go of one from one hand and it will be pulled to the other in another hand. However be careful they BREAK. When they are pulled toward each other from about 6 inches away they smash together and break. I already broke 2. But if you are careful. They are great. Just not durable.
