20 years Keen Shoes

I have been wearing Keen shoes for 20 years now. Sandals (Newport and Venice) in summer and Mary Janes (Toyah & Presidio) with socks in winter and 3 pairs of flip flops (Kona & Bali) in house. I have a few rose style pairs that I don't like at all and will never buy again because they seem cheap. I have over 50 pairs. Keen and buy at least 2 more of each style every year because I don't want to run out of Keen as it's the only shoe I wear now. I kayak year round and used to wear Chaco and Teva but Keen gives so much more. toe protection. Newports have become my favorite water shoes. Yes, sand does seep into the insole, but it's easily washed away by the river. As I get older, comfort becomes more and more important to me. I initially bought sandals in a size 9 1/2, but with constant wear they stretched and became quite loose. Now I buy a size 9 which fits closer to my toes but doesn't give me any problems. Over the years, Keen has discontinued many styles and colors of both Mary Jane shoes and sandals. 2 of my first Venetian sandals were real red and Venice is no longer made in that color. I would love to have a pair in red again. After over 10 years the soles of two pairs of water sandals came loose but I bought some glue to hold them together and still wear them. My goal is to have enough Keen shoes for the rest of my life.
