While I really like the Ninja coffee maker, this is my first serious coffee maker and so far I'm glad I bought it. I had to replace my second regular cheap coffee maker for the second time in 2 years so I opted for a fancy one. I wanted one that could make cups of different sizes and thicknesses that would be just right for me. The only thing I wished was that it could be used with espresso beans, but it doesn't. So far I've tried the classic strength, richness and iced coffee features with different cup sizes and everything has been great. The detachable water tank is very practical. The only thing that confuses him, aside from not being able to use espresso beans without properly grinding them, is the price. It turned out that in various stores I could buy this car in person, and not on the Internet, for 20-30 dollars cheaper.
