No headaches since I bought them!

I've known these glasses for a long time. I use HP E221 monitors at work and after a while I noticed that I had regular headaches with pain right behind my eyes. As I wear contact lenses, I first explained that I needed a new prescription. However, the headache and pain continued after I got new lenses. It got to the point where I could only work for a few minutes before having to take a break or move away from the computer. It eventually got to the point where I even wore sunglasses to my desk to ease the agony a bit! Crossing that line made me think of the Gunnars again. I used to be skeptical, but at this point I was willing to try anything. I found the glasses a bit pricey but with Revain Prime I got a small discount which helped me with the purchase. All I can say is that I wish I had bought them sooner. I've been wearing Gunnar's for 4 weeks now and haven't had a headache since. This is impressive as my headaches were regular and predictable, with an intensity that seemed to increase over the course of a week. I think the lenses have magnification, but I don't really notice that. The first thing I noticed was the shadow. Because of this, the office looked like the sun was setting outside the window. Although I got used to it quickly. After a week or so I only wore them when walking around the office, going to meetings, etc. If you're wondering whether to buy them, trust me, they work. For me it was worth the cost. But I'm aware that just not getting a headache can be a lot.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
