a fatal error for blue light blockers

Looks good, optics are clear, I really wanted to have them. Then the lenses started cracking. The frame is made of stamped sheet metal. It's okay, they keep their shape and spring. However, they cut a groove along the entire edge of the lens so that there is a groove in the sheet metal for the fit. Whenever the frame is bent, the edges of the glasses break off. It all started with a tiny chip in the corner of the lens near the bridge of the nose, now both lenses have a rim chip along the entire

Made for smaller heads but works great

I ordered these glasses for my husband who works on the computer all day. When he came home, his eyes were always red and bloodshot. One of his colleagues bought a pair of GUNNAR glasses and he really liked them, so he asked me to order one for him. They were a little smaller than we would have liked. Although the photos show the boys wearing them, they are too small for his head. The temples (or sides) curve slightly. Luckily they are light enough not to put too much pressure on his head andโ€ฆ

Give Them A Chance - Computer Accessories & Peripherals

When I started working from home my eyes got really tired so I figured blue light glasses might help. I bought a cheap pair from Revain. They helped but they were very poor quality with plastic lenses that were easily scratched/rubbed. I was looking for something higher quality, lighter and with a metal frame. I decide to try these Gunnar glasses. At first I was happy with their fit/quality, but I hated the amber tint and 0.5x magnification. I wore them for half a day. I was ready to write aโ€ฆ

Great frame style and solid quality

I really like these glasses. They are very light and have a cool stylish frame with square holes on the sides making them look very trendy and modern. And I definitely feel the difference in my eyes because I work long hours in front of the computer and often use my phone for long periods of time for work and for clients. After just a few days of use, I noticed that the eye strain was gone, my eyes were no longer red and bloodshot, and I didn't have the headache or tension in my temples that is

I can finally turn my attention to software development again.

My eyes have been accustomed to non-CRT monitors since I was 7; I'm almost 22 now. -- If it's not obvious, my eyes are crippled by blue light; In fact, I developed vision problems from spending so much time staring at modern monitors. After using these glasses for a year I am writing this review; Yes, they are really great. Now I can actually look at the monitor! In front of these glasses I would be at the lowest brightness and still have to squint an eye here and there just to see. It hurts. I

No headaches since I bought them!

I've known these glasses for a long time. I use HP E221 monitors at work and after a while I noticed that I had regular headaches with pain right behind my eyes. As I wear contact lenses, I first explained that I needed a new prescription. However, the headache and pain continued after I got new lenses. It got to the point where I could only work for a few minutes before having to take a break or move away from the computer. It eventually got to the point where I even wore sunglasses to my desk

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

They are great in concept but this particular model from Gunnar Optiks is very poorly finished. The hands come off very easily. Lenses make a difference to my eyes, but it would be better if the lenses actually kept my face in a decent frame. Also, the actual lens size was smaller than I thought I would have preferred a higher lens height for a full view. The arms come off so easily and are quite difficult to put back on. +++++ I'll come back to add to my original review. I am soooooโ€ฆ

I spend a lot of time in front of my large desktop computer screen (27" Viewsonic) with my Eyes about 33". My old computer glasses broke so I decided to try three different glasses: 1.
