Review on πŸ‘“ GUNNAR Gaming and Computer Eyewear with Sheadog, Amber Tint - Cutting-Edge Lens Technology to Minimize Digital Eye Strain, Shielding 65% of Harmful Blue Light by Kyle Ziegler

I spend a lot of time in front of my large desktop computer screen (27" Viewsonic) with my Eyes about 33". My old computer glasses broke so I decided to try three different glasses: 1. Gunnar Optiks G0005-C001 SheaDog Full Rim Ergonomic Advanced Computer Glasses with Amber lenses and Onyx frames 2. GAMMA RAY FLEXLITE GR004-C1 Computer reading glasses with ergonomics need flexible frames with memory effect, UV protection, blue light protection, anti-glare and anti-scratch lenses or use them for this large display at such a long distance, so I do not have these glasses with magnification ordered. But the Gunnar brand still seems to add a very small elevation, which didn't bother my eyes and made the text look a little clearer. I've listed the three models above in order of preference. Gunnar's amber set is generally best suited for work that does not require careful study of color (e.g. email, web surfing). But I'm glad I also bought a pair of color-enhanced Gunnars for when I need to work with color (like in Photoshop). In fact, even color-enhanced glasses should be removed when working with color-calibrated monitors, printers, etc. They add a very faint pink hue to a neutral white background. The reason I'm rating the Gamma Ray over Gunnar's color enhanced set is because my main goal is to help my eyes relax while that big screen shines on my face for hours. And incorporating an amber tint seems crucial to making the screen "easier on the eyes". If you're trying to save money, Gamma Ray could be your choice. But I don't think cheap is what you should do when it comes to your eyes. Also, the Gamma Ray is slightly smaller which may not suit large heads, as is the Gunnar. I haven't found any major issues with any of these three. I hope they physically last longer than my old pair of unknown brand that just fell apart.
