Beautiful sewing machine. I love the platinum and was happy to pay extra for this anniversary edition, especially as it comes with extra feet which I was planning to buy anyway. The seams are perfect from the start. This machine compares well to my 40 year old mechanical Pfaff which still serves me well. Additional features of this Juki are automatic thread cutter, needle threader and larger opening to name a few. If you want a well-made machine for quilting and also sewing many layers of thick fabrics, I recommend this one.
