Wrong connection for extra cable. The cable connector is not included in the bracket. First, there is a rib in the middle that shouldn't be there (in comparison) and the hole is too small (wrong shape). Judging by the Humminbird email, this is fake. Other cables will fit just fine, so as long as you don't plug it into an iPilot trolling motor or network hub you'll be fine. I also have the original mount that came with my device and have tested it. Everything is fine except for the hole for an extra cable.
