Great concept, poor execution. The plastic is so thin that I had to use a heat gun to heat and reshape it. It works, but needs major improvement.

They are excellent for simulating IFR. They are easy to attach and easy to remove. I bought this because I had to take my headset off every time I put on traditional fogs. I wanted something that would cause minimal flight disruption when switching.

I had to buy these for my multi engine commercial IFR test. Since I wear glasses for medical reasons, I was looking for a good visual impairment. They are ideal for people who wear glasses and wear glasses without glasses. They snap into place and fold up in minutes. No need to mess with fog lights or the hood. You might look a little silly during the taxi ride and take off, but who cares?

. too fragile. I haven't even used mine and it just got a crease during shipping that can't be removed. At the very least, this device should have a solid body, and at this price point there's no excuse for not having a quality body. I would also suggest stronger materials to survive the cockpit. Without proper care, they have a very short shelf life. This is a great idea, much better than traditional range hoods, but very poorly implemented.

I've been using tufts for years but they don't work well with bifocals. The problem is that the fog lights force you to look through the underside of the lenses, which, to me at least, have the wrong aperture formulation. They work much better for spending some time in the hood. My only problem is that they are very fragile. I'm not sure how long they will last in my cockpit where everyone ends up sitting. If they were cheaper, it would go into the who cares bucket. But they are kinda expensive

They fit me very well. I like being able to flip them quickly on the DA and not having to fiddle with Francis' hood. Expect to have to buy a hard case to store them so they don't get damaged. You can't throw them in your flight bag. They also work great with my rounded sunglasses, but with my regular glasses I have to wear a baseball cap for the visor to block the light from above. My glasses have 53 x 33mm lenses with a 20mm bridge (size 53-20). This is perfect for a 20mm bridge.

I chose this because I needed to wear vision limiters in addition to my glasses. My trusty fog lights don't work with my glasses and headset. I flew with them once and was on the instruments for about 10 minutes. The side flanges don't really block peripheral vision, but most importantly they limit forward vision where I could only see the tools. I can try changing sides to correct my peripheral vision. Those big, bulky, uncomfortable gray plastic canopies are the last thing you need for an IFR course on a hot summer's day. This view limiter easily attaches to my sunglasses and switching between IFR and view positions is very easy. I am very happy to have this light and comfortable device under the hood during my IFR training. However, there are two problems with this product. First, no suitcase is included. In this price range it should be like that. Even a 50 cent case is better than none as

I used this limiter for IFR training. I like being able to flip it when it's time to render and it works well as a view limiter. I like that it has a wider opening on the right to display GPS etc. there. It works better than fog because I can't wear sunglasses with fog. When you're above the clouds here in Texas, it can get pretty sunny even in the winter! I had to cut out the piece for the nose when it was attached to my glasses otherwise it would put a lot of pressure on my nose. Also, the…
