Review on πŸ‘Ά The Ollie Swaddle: Reduces Moro Reflex with Custom Moisture-Wicking Material (Sky) by Edward Perez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

First review I've written in 6 years of Revain membership.

I used diapers and nappies on my first son who was allowed out earlier. When our second boy was born I took them out and tried to use them. They worked pretty well, but he seemed to enjoy sleeping without his hands out of the swaddle, so I tried the Halo swaddle. I don't know if that made him more aerodynamic or what but at 9 weeks he really started moving around in that diaper and was all over his bassinet which made me a little nervous. I started using diapers again but they were getting too small so I decided to try something new. I stumbled upon the Ollie diaper and read the reviews and liked what I found as I slept more and could keep my hands in or out. My little one slept well but would wake up 2 or 3 times a night and hardly eat so I figured he was probably shivering or just not sleeping deeply enough and so he was waking up rather than hungry. Ollie's diapers arrived three days ago. The fabric is really nice and I found it easy to use. Didn't notice it rising, seems to be holding up quite well. The velcro is a bit noisy, but you can get to the bottom of the diaper with minimal effort, we don't mind. In fact, I didn't even have to use his diaper after his late night meals because he's been sleeping so well since he started using this diaper! He slept 6 hours straight the first night. Then I was tempted to write a review but thought we should give it a few days and see if it was an accident or not. The second night he slept 8 hours straight and last night he slept 10! I swaddled him with my hands as he can't roll over yet but I'm so glad we can use that later when he's grown. I've also noticed that he doesn't move much at all while almost tossing around with the halo. He just seems to be sleeping deeper. I was quite skeptical and nervous about the price but would absolutely recommend and wish it was my first time!

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Sad equipment
