These headphones sound fantastic especially for jazz, bossa nova, old rock, 70's-80's disco, classical and all acoustic music in quieter quality. This is an open style, it has a natural sound. Not suitable for top 10, gangsta rap, loud 90's punk/rock, EDM, any music with loud cymbals/those looking for a boosted sub-bass. silky, crystal clear, high-pitched sound, but can be harsh depending on the music source. When used with an equalizer in a music application, everything works fine. There's not enough sub-bass (not below 160Hz), but for some reason the vertical bass sounds great in these headphones. Anyone who listens to Bill Evans' trio will be amazed. Not suitable for people with small ears. It is inconvenient to use with a mask, it will get confused. Since it is open, sound also leaks out. For interior use only. At $13, this is a bargain.
