The photo shows a variation of "Puma Black". We got the black/grey striped shorts first and my son loved them so we ordered the Puma Black shorts in the same size and they were obviously bigger - way too big! Both variants are soft and not too thick, but not too thin either. Both hang well and both have pockets. The pockets are made from the same material as the shorts (rather than mesh like some athletic shorts). We are bringing back the "Puma Black" version because they are too big and because the seam on the back of the leg looks really silly. I can not say, whether the extra seams on the legs made it less comfortable since my son didn't try them on. (PS There is no lace in either pair, although the item description points to suggest there is. The lace would have been unnecessary and annoying anyway.
