Very easy to use and economical, but there are a few caveats to keep in mind.

I've been using Control GX Hair Shampoo for a few years now and don't think I'll ever go back to the old Touch Of Gray hair product. When I decided to grow a beard I thought of Control GX shampoo for a beard might be a better option than an old wash and brush mix. Okay, beards are a different problem. Facial hair is thicker, coarser, and harder to dye. In addition, they are usually shorter than the hair on the head. And therein lies the first problem. The shampoo solution needs something to set if you want it to color your hair. If you're growing a beard for the first time or just want to keep your stubble short, this product isn't great in my experience. It starts to work much better when your beard is at least 1/4 inch long, but it really starts to work at about 1/2 inch hair length when there is enough hair to really hold the shampoo. I would recommend waiting until your beard is at least 1/2 inch long before you start coloring. Second, my beard is probably 80% white and I wanted it close to my head hair so maybe 25% is left. Gray. If you follow the instructions and leave it on for 5 minutes, it will be (very) slow. About a month. So I've found that I need to leave it on for 10-12 minutes once or twice a day. a week to get the desired results. However, this is different for everyone depending on how gray your beard is, how much color you want, how coarse your beard is, and how long you're willing to wait to see results. the color you want you can probably reduce it to once a week and adjust it from 10-12 minutes to 5-7 minutes. In my opinion, this is old-school product mixing and combing. You are also much less likely to overly ruin and darken your hair as it works very gradually. And finally, I seem to be a lot less prone to skin blemishes than the old brush.
