Great price for what appears to be a very well made cable. This Category 7 flat cable was significantly heavier than the Category 6 cable I had previously used for wiring in another room. For my purpose, this flat cable was perfect. Much more flexible than the typical round version, but it also had to be routed under the carpet in sections so I could have hotspots in other rooms of our house. Typically, the cable is routed through the subfloor in the attic and down the walls. Wiring a home this way can be an expensive project and may require a certified electrician. Using flat wire I was able to run the cable along the outside of the carpet, just behind the tack strips. Since they are flat I could also run 2 in parallel outside of the tack strips from my router/switch to the point where they diverge. (FYI: Installing a Ubiquiti Unifi system with 3 APs throughout the house. The APs will obviously have an Ethernet backhaul, which is a better option than a wireless backhaul in most cases.) I will be running all the cables coming from the switch come , flat cable.
