I needed a simple VGA to USB and this is the only thing I could find. Once I got it I plugged it and guess what - nothing. I was not happy; however, you have to install the drivers. The problem is that most computers these days do not have a internal disk drive and buying an external disk drive for a single cord is kind of silly. But, if you do have an external disk drive laying around like me then throw the disk in and let it rip. Navigate to Mac or Win. Click the single file and then click finish. Rip out the external disk drive and plug in your monitor. Then, extend the displays and auto calibrate and you are set.
