a 100 amp lever as it kept blowing when I started the engine of my warm car. The app is used as a battery switch for my RV engine via the battery negative terminal. This unit worked normally after repeated engine starts. When cold the 100 amp unit works fine but when the engine is warm the starter sometimes wobbles a bit and takes a few seconds to get up to speed.The 100 amp unit I had had a tendency to burn out even when connected to the negative terminal the battery has been used. It's very frustrating when you fill up at Costco and there are people queuing behind you! I recommend this unit. It would be nice if I could find a similar block with 3/8" connectors rated at 300 amps just for safety reasons. DO NOT buy a battery disconnect for any car unless it has 3/8" connectors. Many have 1/4" lugs and you will be wasting your money. So far, so good. If I have any problems I'll let you know.
