Works great on a rocket launch control circuit. I needed a switch that would clearly indicate its state (on/off), not easy to accidentally switch on and handle at least 10 amps, I like the fact that when the cover is brought down, it will turn the switch off if it is on and it cannot be switched or left on while the cover is down. That way, I can be positive that it is in safe mode. That was a big bonus for me.

This switch seems to be made very well. Cheaper toggle switches with the red cover do not turn off when the red cover is put down. This switch turns off every time the cover is pushed down. I do not have the switch light connected but I did not need it; that is just an added benefit. Would recommend and buy again!

no 5 stars because you have to be carefull installing them, the carbon fiber vynil may get scratchet other than that looks great.

Switches seem quality, but the lights on the switches do not work on both of the 2 I’ve installed so far. Also only received 3 on the initial shipment, had to return and ship a new pack of 5 to get everything I paid for.

Used this to turn on a light bar on my 4x4. It is almost exact in use as the military ones (close cover-shuts off switch). One word of warning for anyone buying/installing: Mount this facing slightly down (like near your steering wheel). This switch is lit when on, and it is EXTREMELY bright. If you put it on the dash, it will ruin your night vision and distract! lol!

Works great, great quality, and carbon fiber look is nice. Have this hooked up to my subs in my truck. The red illuminated lite is nice because i always forget to turn them off. I might not buy these if you think a beaming red light constantly on during the night would bother you, but the way i positioned it, my steering wheel blocks this light haha

I needed a lighted switch with a guard on it to prevent it from getting accidentally turned on. This switch worked great. It has a red LED in the end of the lever that lights when switch is on.

This is a nice little switch. The LED is in the tip of the handle. I had the hardest time getting the LED to illuminate. But after talking to my electrical engineer father, I figured it out and I will try to pass it on to you. The material is very durable and the light helps to indicate if power is flowing through. I used this for an independent switch for my fog lights and once they stopped getting power I knew because the light stopped shinning. I would recommend this to everyone.

I ordered this switch and CITI Blue 9 LED Strip NEON MOTORCYCLE / CAR / BOAT / HOME / POD LIGHT to install on dash of older truck to illuminate gauge cluster. I am happy with the quality of the switch . It showed up on time and in good condition. The LED is very bright and can be distracting depending where it is mounted in vehicle. (mounted it right on dash) That is the only complaint I could possibly think of.Simple to install for anyone with a base knowledge in electric circuits.

Very high quality switches. They have an awesome feel to them. The CF is a bit cheesy, but I don't mind it, it looks pretty good.The switches have a very good "clicky" feel to them when you throw them.Only thing is that the CF is not straight on them, and I have two side by side, and the CF pattern is slightly skewed on one compared to the other, so it makes it look like the switches are crooked no matter how I turn them. oh well.

I bought this to act as a switch for my cooler so that bumping the switch wouldn't turn it off. It is set up in such a way that closing the cover will turn it off and the only way to change it is to modify it so that the cover can swivel to the other side but there is no groove to ensure that it stays that way. i bought one of these to use in a diy radio project. originally, i thought the addition of the rocker switch cover would give it a more industrial feel, but i eventually opted to remove the cover and go with a bare switch. the cover comes right off, so its removal was no problem at all. the switch itself is also very easy to install. depending on your application, you can adjust the depth over 1/4" by moving the inner nut.wiring was pretty simple. i'm still convinced the labels are switched on…

Item shipped fast, and they perform perfect. Only one issue does not come with a wiring diagram. That is only reason I didn't give five stars. Wiring is vary easy a quick Google search for 3 prong toggle switch pulls up a bunch of diagrams. Product is so easy it do, and makes a huge difference on my dash

This switch looks and works great on my boat. Very similar switches were used to control bilge pumps, navigation, anchor lights etc. The cover is removable and its use is optional. LED stays on constantly which is actually really nice for visibility if you mount this under steering wheel. Toggles can feel loose and unstable, adding to concerns of accidental switching!

The cover however is not carbon fiber, but a graphic on plastic.Another reviewer of this type of switch didn't like it because the cover doesn't allow the switch to remain in the "on" position: that's exactly what this type of safety cover is for. The switch can only be turned on if the cover is up. Cover down cancels the switch. That's how it's designed. If the LED is on, the switch is on.

Installation was a breeze. Am using to switch a pair of radiator cooling fans drawing about 6 amps. Green "on" light is a bonus. So far works well, seems to be of good build. Would recommend.

I ordered 2 at the same time, they arrived at different times, and require a different amount of pressure to flip on and off. In other words one is hard to switch and the other is easy. Work fine for me, cause its just for auxiliary lights. I would not put them on anything "important" .
