I was skeptical. Figured the ratchet system was a gimmick, and the quality of the belt itself may be lacking. But for twenty dollars what the heck. I liked being able to cut the belt to fit my to my personal preference. I wear 36 waist. I ordered 36 to 42 belt. I cut off 4 inches of the belt to suit my liking. I am very impressed with the ratchet system. Wonderful being able to adjust the belt to wear to my exact preference. No more a little to lose or a little too tight. The quality of the belt is also impressive. I will be wearing a ratchet belt from now on.
