healthy and covers gray hair better

Love love henna. This is the third brand I've tried and while I haven't really complained about any of them, I have to say that there are definitely some great things about this one. Huge bag at a great price and all the extra ingredients that are good for your hair. Contains jaramansi against graying hair - score! And lots of other great stuff in there. It was well ground (powder) and smelled like tea. I would say pleasant. I mixed mine with avocado oil, coconut oil and calamansi (Philippine lime). It was just a replacement for lemon because we had it at home and I figured why not. The great thing about henna is that you can add whatever you want. So for people who have never used henna before, it's not the same as buying a packet of chemical hair dye. It takes more time and care but I feel like it covers the gray longer and makes my hair healthier so it's worth it. I make my mixture with warm water and whatever, apply it right away, put on a plastic hair net from the dollar store and let it sit for as long as possible. I also use plastic gloves from Dollar Store. (This bag comes without gloves). The longer the better because henna is good for your hair. I sleep in mine (with a hairnet and a towel on my pillow) and shower when I wake up. So at least 7 hours on my head. Another option is to leave the mixture in the bowl for 2-3 hours and then leave it on your hair for 3-4 hours according to package directions. Hair. It's like working with dirt. Wash off with warm water. Press lightly and work with your hands. DO NOT try to untangle all the tangles at once. Once you feel like you've washed your hair as best you can, I highly recommend using a nourishing hair mask. The ones you apply in the shower for 2-5 minutes before rinsing off. Then I have the feeling that your hair is easier to comb on the second rinse. I also add a leave-in conditioner when I get out of the shower and then I start to detangle my tangles. I find the hair a bit stiffer and drier right after henna, but it disappears more and more every time you shower. If it's still too weird and you just can't stand it, feel free to use shampoo. This won't remove them completely, but it can speed up the process of restoring your hair to its normal state. The longer you stay away from shampoo, the longer henna will last. So if you can just stick with conditioner, give it a try. I would say my hair looks normal after the second or third shower. I get a lot of compliments about henna. My hair looks healthy and shiny. I tried going back to Box Paint for convenience, but the grays popped up faster and the color faded quickly, which was annoying. So I went back to henna. Luckily I didn't have any weird colors when switching back and forth. I have naturally brunette hair with gray roots - the gray hair is lighter than the rest of my hair and has a more coppery tint, while the rest is a more perfect auburn that looks even redder in the sun.
