I got that , because my home office is in the basement, and even though it's a finished and cozy basement, it's still underground and often gets cold..I use this to cover my feet to keep them warm.The first few Weeks that I've had it it's been great. However, it's starting to act weird. Sometimes there seems to be a surge of energy, and it gets so hot it's burning me (For the record, I like to bathe in water that the Devil himself is boiling). Set it to maximum and only the coils in the valves will get hot but the rest of the winding will be cold. I let it cool down for 20-30 minutes after which it automatically shuts off. I suspect this is what it is about should contribute that it continues to order functions properly without overheating/burning out the coils. However, last week it started doing this weird thing when it won't let me turn it back on. The indicator blinks 3 times at the "low" level, then a long pause with no light, then 3 blinks, a long pause, etc. Almost like it's running on a dead battery. But that's not the case. It's connected to my wall. Do your research and find a more suitable thermal film. That's a lemon.
